Black out Tuesday

Since the beginning of this year, I share an ‘alexnote’ every day. A sketch of something that is happening, a comment on the news, or just the beauty that I saw during the day. Today it is ‘BlackOutTuesday’; millions of people show their support for the Black Lives Matter protests by just posting a ‘blackout image’ on their social media accounts. So for today, there is no sketch, just my darkest note. But I filled it with the words of Martin Luther King jr.:

“Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that”

Relevant then, relevant still.
